In February 2006 I
spent six weeks traveling widely through Thailand and Laos,
gathered 15 hours of ambient audio recordings, and made 20 line
drawings.
An edited group of these drawings was projected as stills which faded
from one to the next.
A selection of audio recordings from different locations was played in
a loop.

Ambient Thailand and Laos
A video short excerpt from a 1 hour long non-narrative film that would function as a theatrical release and for use in art installation. Based on video shot during travel to SE Asia in February 2005. Impressions from Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Ubon Ratchathani, Pakse, Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Ranong, and Petchaburi.
